Our Christmas

Before Christmas gets too far behind us, I thought I'd share some pictures from our Christmas moments!  We were blessed to have many opportunities to worship and help lead others in worship!  The annual school Christmas program was on December 18th.  This years theme was "I Witness News Live from Bethlehem." Timmy was a wiseman and sang a solo.  Lucy was an angel and sang a duet.  And I once again directed it.  It went wonderfully and I am once again glad to get back our normalcy for a bit!  The Sunday School kids led the children's Christmas Eve service.  Lucy was a shepherd - I am amazed how much she looks like Timmy here!

Lucy played the piano (for the first time in public) at the Christmas Eve service.  Here she is warming up at home.

Our tradition after the Christmas Eve service (and before Ben heads back for another) is to open new pajamas!  I try to find some that fit their interests for the previous year.

Christmas morning is always a test of patience for the kids, but they know we don't do presents until after church.  Church is just part of our life so they don't seem to be too phased with the waiting ;)

We took our family pictures on Christmas morning instead of Christmas Eve....I wasn't sure how crabby Bo was going to be and thought it would be less frustrating.

The boys had matching sweaters again.  Cooper picked them out.  I'm not sure how much longer Timmy will let me get away with this, but I asked how he felt about it before buying and he said "I'm good with it." So we will keep doing it as long as he will :)

These two love each other - so obvious in this picture!

Cooper totally looks up to his big Timmy

Lucy has never worn a red dress for Christmas!  So I decided that was the way to go this year!  Red is a great color on her!

Before we can make a final decision on a dress we have to check the spin out on it.  This one had an all tulle bottom so it was FABULOUS!

Can you tell which kid loves having their picture taken?

On to Presents....
Cooper loves Donkey Kong....in fact he regularly calls himself "Diddy Kong." We found this movie set at Sam's Club and had to get it!

Bo took to the present unwrapping quite nicely :)

He also was excited about the Donkey Kong movies.  He spent a lot of time staring at those and babbling something about "diddy" too.

I found this set of Clifford wood blocks at a consignment store.  They have been a huge hit!

Lucy has wanted an American Girl doll for a couple years now.  She made the decision that she would rather get that and not much else.  So we made a trip to the American Girl Store and looked all around. After determining the ones she liked best, she went off with daddy and I made the final decision.  So she knew it was coming....but which one was still a surprise.

She named her "Kaylee" and has been having a blast with her.

Didn't get a picture of Timmy with his big gift!  He got Infiinity for the Wii and has been loving that.

Gram made the kids matching pjs....which is probably an easier task than trying to get all four of them in a picture.

Merry Christmas!
